MUNICIPAL COURT


The Wickenburg Municipal Court is part of the integrated judicial system and serves as the judicial branch of the Wickenburg Municipal Government.  The Court has jurisdiction over civil traffic, criminal traffic, and misdemeanor cases that occur within the Town of Wickenburg.  The court also presides over cases involving Orders of Protection and Injunctions Against Harassment.

Court is in session for hearing cases on Mondays (except holidays) beginning at 8:00 am.

 

To pay Court fines you may use Visa / MasterCard / Discover, cash, checks, money orders, or cashiers checks.  The court business hours are 7-6 Monday-Thursday. The court is closed for lunch Tuesday – Thursday from noon to 1:00 pm. 

 

If you would like to make a plea to your offense, please mail in your plea to the court at the above address. Or you may fax your signed plea to the court before your court date. If pleading guilty, mail a copy of your plea and the fine amount to the above address. If you are pleading not guilty, you will be sent information on your next court date so be sure your address is correct on your correspondence.

 

Note: All that is needed on your plea is “I am pleading guilty” or “I am pleading not guilty”. The court cannot look at any explanations if you plead not guilty, but if your plea is guilty and you would like to add an explanation you may…with a guilty plea only.

 

Our Spanish speaking Court Interpreter is here on the third Monday of each month. If you need a Spanish Interpreter and your court date falls on another date, you must fax the court with your request to be reset for the Interpreter before your court date and we will be happy to do so.
