The Wickenburg Fire Department was first organized in 1865. The first constitution was adopted in 1937 in Maricopa County. In 1976 the Wickenburg Volunteer Fire Department LTD was incorporated.

3 full-time Firefighters / EMT

7 part-time Firefighters / EMT

2 part-time Firefighters

3 Reserve Firefighters

The Department has one station.  All of the firefighters hold the title of Arizona State Certified Firefighter II.   The department operates on a standard ABC shift, 24 on 48 off schedule.   The Wickenburg Fire Department covers approximately 88 square miles.
