READ YOUR WAY TO THE BALLPARK 2009

Register at the library to receive your gameboard to track your reading. One space on the board equals 20 minutes of reading (either on your own or someone reading to you) or 50 pages read or 1 book finished. Collect prizes as you work your way towards earning a free ticket to a Diamondbacks' home baseball game! Sponsored by the AZ Republic and The Arizona Diamondbacks.

Signup online at www.mcldaz.org, click on Summer Reading, or at the library. Track your progress on your reading gameboard or do it completely online! Prizes awarded every six spaces completed (one space equals 20 minutes of reading, 50 pages, or 1 book). Read your way to a free Mercury home basketball game! Go online to read kids' reviews of books from around Maricopa County - comment on theirs or write one of your own. Reviews will earn you a chance to also win a prize in some random drawings. EXPRESS YOURSELF @ YOUR LIBRARY (Ages 13-18)
Signup online at www.mcldaz.org, click on Summer Reading to register. Same dates as other @ THE LIBRARY programs, this one is geared expressly for teens (and tweens if desired). Same info EXCEPT one space equals 1 book or 300 pages. The teen progress is kept exclusively online. There will also be random prize drawings for those who submit book reviews online.
