SCOTT STEWART - COUNCILMEMBER
Scott Stewart has been a resident of Wickenburg since his family moved here in 1988. He was a 1990 graduate of Wickenburg High School. He did spend time abroad while in the Air Force and college, but Wickenburg was still his place of residence. He is 35 years of age. Stewart has two step children with his indefinitely betrothed. He is currently a registered nurse at the Wickenburg Community Hospital.
Stewart served for five years as a U.S. Air Force medic and treated battle casualties from Operation Desert Storm and conflicts in Bosnia, Kosovo and Somalia. He was honorably discharged from the USAF in 1995. He enjoys horseback riding in the surrounding area, and also enjoys skydiving.
Stewart believes Wickenburg is at a critical time in its development and that a continuation of strong leadership is needed with a business perspective. He thinks the three most critical issues facing Wickenburg are crime, development, and finance. |
