The
Public Works Department, assisted by the Recycling Ad-Hoc Committee, oversees
the day-to-day operations of the Town of Wickenburg’s Recycling Program. This
new program consists of a drop-off center at its new location, Sickles
Sanitation, at the west end of the industrial park. The Town’s Greenwaste
(brush) drop-off program at the old landfill site has been closed.

Household
aluminum products, such as beverage cans, foil baking pans and aluminum
foil.

Grocery
bags
Cardboard
Moving
and packing boxes. Please break down boxes to conserve space. No Styrofoam
packing materials are accepted.
Cartons
Milk,
juice and creamer containers.
Chipboard
Cereal,
cracker, cake mix and other food boxes. Please remove plastic inserts.
Glass
Glass
of any color is now being accepted and can be added into the mix. Remove
any lids and add them separately.
Newspaper
Including
advertising inserts.
Paper -

Magazines,
junk mail, office paper, catalogs and phone books.
Paper -
Shredded
Please
place shredded office paper inside a white or clear plastic bag to contain
the material. This is the only time plastic bags are accepted in the
mix.

bags can be returned to both Bashas and Safeway Food Stores in Wickenburg.
